UPDATE on 09/2011 BASTROP WILDFIRES

At the end of our long, legal journey we are glad to share with you that we did prove our insurance case but unfortunately rebuilding, both home and business, is not possible from the settlement.

On several occasions we have been approached by enthusiastic chocolate investors enchanted by the idea of seeing ROSCAR live another day. However, after realizing that setting up a professional chocolate business from scratch comes with a hefty price tag their interest waned and thereby our renewed hope.

As September 2013 will already mark the second anniversary of the wildfire tragedy it is time for us to accept that ROSCAR was a beautiful chapter in our life but one that is not meant to be re-written.

As we move forward we take many dear memories of you with us and hope that you too will fondly remember the times you savored ROSCAR Chocolates of Bastrop, Texas.

We thank you for your loyalty to our products over the years and for all the encouraging and comforting words you have bestowed on us since Labor Day weekend 2011.
